It's a cliché to say this but when I'm drawing, especially from life or from a video I forget everything. It's totally absorbing and it's a feeling I crave when I don't find (or make?) the time to draw. I think my drawings capture something that I haven't been able to transfer to my paintings, something about the immediacy and movement especially of the human form.
These are a recent addition to my work. Using the velvety feel of Indian ink and subtle water colour seems to capture the fleeting movement of the dancer and the simplicity and beauty of her poses.
I've put together this page anyone who might be interested in buying from me or asking about a commissions. I'm really happy to answer any questions you may have so feel free to reach out. You might also like to check-out the prints that are available, they're giclée prints of limited runs and come in either A4 or A3 sizes.
