I paint in oil and acrylic, on paper and on canvas. The paintings, especially the landscape ones are often layer upon layer of paint as I try to chase the right feeling. I like to work across several piece at once and tend to paint in short bursts of energy. The landscapes are about the memory of a place and I like them to feel as though they are still alive and full of movement. The dancers are a recent obsession and the result of many hours of sketching them from videos.
